Synopsis
In this course, participants will be exposed to didactic learning, hands-on sessions on pig jaws and/or models, and observe live surgeries focused on esthetic rehabilitations. Current soft and hard tissue management protocols around teeth and implants will be demonstrated, with an emphasis on the inter-disciplinary interaction from surgery through to communication to the laboratory, and final restorations for ideal prosthetic rehabilitation.

Connective tissue grafts: understand the indications and acquire practical techniques.

Learn more about implants best suited for immediate placement at the time of extraction and immediate restoration.

Learn how to minimize bone loss induced by extraction. Exposure to new extraction tools will be emphasized. Ridge preservation techniques and materials will be demonstrated in live surgeries and hands on sessions.

Implant provisionalization strategies, materials and design: at surgery or following integration.

Accurate impression taking techniques for implant rehabilitations: providing consistent information to your ceramist.

Learn more about alumina and zirconia: abutment design will be emphasized. All-ceramic restorations: restoring the natural dentition and implants.

Cementation: keys-to success. Theory and practical application.
